So, A while back, I got the idea
to do a Jay-Z remix. This was during the end of the "OMG I am going
to remix The Black Album with anything that mentions a color" phase.
I was just sitting around on day thinking of things that would be humorous
to have Jay-Z sing over. I choose Nena's "99 Red Balloons" and
Jay-Z's "99 Problems". Obviously because they both use 99 in
their title. We spent a couple hours over a few days getting it right. We
had to speed up the loops a little to fit, and we chopped some of Jay-Z's
lines, but overall, I think it's pretty decent, though not totally done.
We used both the English and German versions of 99 Red Balloons, as well
as some 'camera' type drums.
